There Marlin (blue, white & black Marlin) belongs to the family of the subjects- and spear fish (Istiophoridae). This very active swimming fish are found in all oceans. Top speeds of up to 100 km / h, a length up to 4,6 Meters and a weight of up to 630 Kg make the Blue Marlin (Makaira nigricans) the most popular angler-fish of the big game and besides the second-fastest fish in the world. In the Indian Ocean is up to the 3,7 Meter long Black Marlin (Makaira indica) and the striped marlin (Tetrapturus audax) frequently caught.
